Splash into summer with us at the Royal Rosarians Milk Carton Boat Race, a classic Rose Festival event dating back to 1973! The race takes place on Sunday, June 26th at 11:00 am at Westmoreland Park's Casting Pond. We'll be there with our fleet of boats, handing out free snacks and goodies, plus entertainment.
For the month of May, our cheese of the month is their iconic Sweet Fire Chévre. Portland Creamery works with other Oregon growers and producers to create a delicious marionberry habanero jam that pairs perfectly with their Chévre. The result is a perfectly balanced cheese that's sure to please. The creamy goat cheese balances out the sweet jam and savory heat of the habanero--all in one bite! Our cheese of the month for April is a creamy, spreadable garlic herb sheep's milk cheese from Green Dirt Farms. This delicious cheese has garlic notes combined with a lovely mixture of lovage, chives, and parsley. This cheese is extremely versatile and pairs well with IPAs, dried figs, and roasted red peppers.
