Classic Foods has been providing the Pacific Northwest with artisan specialty products since 1984. Founder Jake Greenburg started with a line of premium, low salt soup bases but quickly expanded the product line to include herbs, spices, and specialty items. In 1991, Classic Foods began producing its own pasta. All of their pasta is handmade in small batches using semolina and durum wheat flour, pasteurized fresh cage-free eggs, and filtered water. To ensure the highest quality product they traveled to learn traditional Italian pasta-making techniques.
